Physical Therapy
Licensed physical therapists treat patients with neuromuscular and/or musculoskeletal disabilities, and emphasize quality of life through prevention of disability. Instruction in the use of assistive devices and development of exercise programs helps achieve the maximum level of functional independence.
Occupational Therapy
Registered occupational therapists evaluate and treat physical and psychosocial dysfunctions, emphasizing quality of life through prevention of disability. By recovering physically, patients minimize and prevent deformity, muscle atrophy, response to pain and impairment in social relationships. Assistive devices and task modifications are also utilized to compensate for the disability.
Speech/Language Pathology
Experienced speech/language pathologists treat patients who demonstrate disorders of human communication, changes in speech patterns and swallowing.
